Counting fish: how citizen science guides the work

Local divers collect the data that decides where we plant next.
Every restoration decision we make rests on data, and most of that data is collected by local divers trained as citizen scientists.
They run standardized survey dives, count species, and log reef health over time. The numbers tell us what is working and where to focus.
Open data also lets university partners build on what we learn.
